Dogs love Christmas too! So spoil your pup with these soft and flavorful Gingerbread Pupcakes!
Z spent this past weekend with his buddy Paddy while I was away at a family reunion. I had a great couple of days with my family but sure missed my baby. Luckily he has his friend and some Gingerbread Pupcakes to keep him happy.
He also had his super comfy hoodie from Sew Squirrely Boutique. Z loves his hoodie. He comes running when I pick it up and some days won’t let me take it back off. To get your dog his very own hoodie head over to the Sew Squirrely Boutique Facebook page and send her a message to place your order!
On to the Gingerbread Pupcakes! I wanted to bake something soft and fluffy for Mr. Z to enjoy and these Pupcakes certainly fit that bill. Not only are they soft, but they’re super flavorful – I may have tried one myself. They’re actually not bad. Since the molasses has natural sugar in it, there’s just enough sweetness to be bearable for me.
On top of being delicious, Gingerbread Pupcakes are actually good for your dog thanks to the ground ginger and ground cinnamon. Both Ginger and Cinnamon can provide some health benefit in small amounts. Ginger can help relieve nausea in dogs and cinnamon has wonderful anti-inflammatory properties.
I don’t know about you, but if I can get Z to eat something good for him without being a “mean mommy” I’m happy.
Whip up a batch of Gingerbread Pupcakes for your favorite four legger! They will certainly thank you! Probably will slobbery kisses.
